New Year Community Cleanse

Information

New Year Community Cleanse

It's our first ever community home-cleanse! It is a collaboration led by Kanyakumari Ayurveda & Wellness in partnership with YamaYoga, Haleybird Studios and omTown Yogis. So cool!

Push the "restart" button for your overall health & well-being and join a Practitioner-led group cleanse based on Ayurveda, the sister-science of yoga. This gentle non-fasting home cleanse is a method of detoxification which takes place over seven days. It's supported by a vegetarian whole foods diet & recipes, easy home treatments, a simple detox yoga routine, and mild herb formulas. Kanyakumari staff provide support with in-person workshops and this online forum to stay connected with the group. We're all in it together!

Thanks so much everyone for coming to the Cleanse Yoga sessions this weekend at Yama and Haleybird Yoga Studios!  I had a wonderful time teaching such dedicated yogis and yoginis.  A few asked how long to expect the Cleanse Yoga Sequence to take when practicing at home.  The sequence can take from 30-60 minutes, depending upon if you include the Moon Salutations and Inversions, and of course how long of a savasana/relaxation you choose to do.  Please feel free to post questions about the postures here or email me directly at sarah@kanyakumari.us.

Thanks Claire for getting things started on our page!

I'll be posting a new discussion for each day of the cleanse with daily inspiration, helpful tips, and resources. Feel free to join in at any time. If you need to speak with me personally you're always welcome to contact me at heather@kanyakumari.us. I'll be posting shortly about what and how you can prepare today.
